Giving Back
We recognise that a commitment to sustainability is achieved not just through environmentally friendly business practices and products, but through the people and community that we’re part of. Our first step towards promoting sustainability at large is through engaging in the community and supporting causes that improve human, societal or environmental metrics which represent three pillars of sustainability.
Supercart is pleased to donate one Mini hybrid trolley to retiree couple Bill & Merelyn in recognition of their honesty in seeking to purchase a trolley rather than pinching one from their local store.
In a continuation of our efforts to support local communities, we are pleased to have donated two of our Australian made hybrid shopping trolleys to the Mt Gravatt Community Centre in QLD! Our trolleys will by used by MGCC to assist their volunteers and staff working in the Food Pantry where ‘Emergency Relief’ food and other essential items are provided for local community members and international students in need of assistance and support.
We’re proud to support St Monica’s College in promoting and practicing their message that ‘sustainability is everyone’s responsibility’ with a donation of an Australian made hybrid shopping trolley made from 100% recycled plastic.
Riverside Community Church are the latest recipients of a Supercart trolley donation to assist in their charitable activities. We’re proud to be able to support the tireless efforts of the unsung heroes like Jim Cameron who are on the ground helping the community.
